Whisky

We believe that making of a legend starts from a strong foundation. The ground-work for our legendary product starts from a mash that is prepared by grinding the mixture of a special variety of barley with high-quality spring water heated at 65°C. The mash is then converted to a sugary liquid known as wort. The wort is further cooled down to a desired temperature and mixed with yeast to start the fermentation process.

The fermentation converts the sugar in wort into alcohol between 9% -10% ABV, called as “wash”, that is then distilled.

The wash is distilled and condensed in traditional copper stills. The output of this step is further transferred to spirit stills for the second phase of distillation. This process is closely monitored by our stillmen who finally decide the “cut point” for declaring the birth of the legendary dram of about 70% ABV.

This young spirit is prepared with the intention to conquer the world and win millions of hearts. Doing this will not be possible without proper upbringing and maturation. Therefore, the young Glenmaster is housed at finest American oak and Spanish Oloroso casks for years until they prove that they are old enough and have attained the required characteristics.

Before it can be bottled and introduced to the world, every batch of Glenmaster whisky passes through several stringent tests.
